This beautiful venue can be found just 2,3km away from the intersection of the N14/R28 highway and Hendrik Potgieter Road. Closely situated to Cradlestone Mall and Silverstar Casino. Usambara is composed of three different entities: The well-established wedding and function venue under the management of owner, Cecile Scheepers, the new 4 star rated Lodge with 22 double rooms and 2 honeymoon suites as well as the luxurious Salon & Spa. All culminating to provide a one stop coordinated experience. Usambara offers you an exquisite venue for weddings, functions and conferences complimented by our warm home-style hospitality and great food to make your special day a most memorable one. We offer two thatch venues: the Mponde and the Magali to celebrate your marriage and the more contemporary Mabweni Venue for celebrations such as birthday parties & corporate events We strive to make your experience at Usambara a memorable and stress free one to give you a day to look back on with fond memories. All venues are catered for by a fully equipped kitchen and professionally trained staff. One of our most valued assurances is the quality of our food. Only the finest ingredients are used and the contents of our menus can be modified to suit every client’s requirements. Starters are served plated at the guest tables and main course & dessert are served in buffet style. The venues are nestled in lush greens gardens which houses numerous secluded little water features, ponds, a waterfall surrounded by palm trees and calming streams. Usambara offers two different chapels for your guests to witness the couple being united in marriage. The Formal Chapel with its antique ambience and the Garden Chapel nestled amongst flourishing gardens. Speciality wedding for our Muslims and Hindu guests can also be accommodated as well as Walimah. We pride ourselves in having hosted numerous lavish functions. Our experienced co-ordinators together with our in-house DJ and florist all become involved with the detail in organising your unique special day. Set in the garden along site a pond with a waterfall and surrounded by palm trees, this thatched open chapel is ideal for garden ceremonies. The sound of water, a gentle breeze and the smell of fragrant flowers and shrubs, create a relaxed atmosphere in which to start your fairy tale wedding. A brass bell announces the bride’s arrival. Chairs with beautiful covers provide seating for up to 200 guests. The chapel is non-denominational and come with standard décor and equipment including PA system, bubble machines and fresh rose petals for confetti. After the ceremony guests will be served pre-arranged welcome drinks and horsd’oeuvres in the adjacent garden.
