MTHOMBENI ATTORNEYS was established in 2013 by Obakeng Mthombeni. Mr. Mthmbeni holds an LLB degree from NWU. He started working as an intern student advisor and later as an intern legal advisor at the University Law Clinc whilst studying towards his degree. He further obtained a certificate for having completed the Practical Legal Training with Legal Education And Development (LEAD), a division of the Law Society of South Africa. Mr. Mthombeni proceeded to serve his articles with Legal Aid South Africa where he became well exposed to civil and crminal litigation as well as proficient in Family law and extensive drafting skills. He then continued to work for a corporate entity called Mosa Group as an In-house legal advisor where he was responsible for drafting agreements of local and international recognition, monitoring compliance at junior level within the company and transactions with external entities. He further went on to work as an Industrial Relation’s consultant before establishing the firm “Mthombeni Attorneys”. Our firm of fresh and vibrant staff has earned a reputation for boldly and proficiently defending and promoting the interests of our clients. We have secured diverse and competent experience in criminal as well as civil litigation within our region. On a regular basis we expanded our service offerings to additional fields of law. The skilled, efficient and service driven professionalism for which Mthombeni Attorneys has become renowned, has similarly been taken forward in our labour and family law as well as other advisory services.
