Former partner in the Dispute Resolution / Litigation Business Unit of Webber WentzeI, one of the Big 5 law firms in South Africa. I have 10 years of experience in corporate, commercial and delictual (tort) litigation and arbitration, insurance matters (liability and coverage), contractual disputes, insolvency matters, property disputes and business rescue matters, delictual claims and short term insurance. I joined Webber Wentzel in 2005 as a candidate attorney and after completion of my articles I was appointed as an associate in 2007. During my articles, I gained experience in the Litigation, Corporate Services (Mergers, acquisitions and disposals) and Maritime and Shipping departments where I was involved with the drafting of business and share sale agreements, the conducting of due diligence investigations, shareholders agreements, fishing industry reviews, ship arrests and general admiralty litigation.I was formerly a senior associate in Webber Wentzel's Insurance and Legal Liability Practice Group where I gained experience in and advised on all aspects of insurance liability and coverage including personal injury, professional indemnity, directors and officer's liability, construction and transportation related claims.
